CLARE Foundation friends and supporters gathered Sunday, June 4, to celebrate the life of Jack Rosenbaum at the launch of the Jack Rosenbaum Fund for Men’s Recovery.
Jack, who passed away in February 2017, dedicated his life to helping those in need. He served on the CLARE Board of Directors for over 32 years, and sponsored countless individuals through Alcoholics Anonymous and Nicotine Anonymous, of which he was a founding member. Jack truly embodied the spirit of service and the power of recovery, and was the recipient of the 2006 Spirit of CLARE award.
The Jack Rosenbaum Fund Launch, hosted by Shawn Hezar, was attended by over 50 of Jack’s friends, family members, and sponsees. The event raised over $85,000 in Jack’s honor, over $20,000 of which was raised by the Rosenbaum family through a crowdfunding campaign.
Funds raised for the Jack Rosenbaum Fund will specifically support men in obtaining access to lifesaving treatment as well as raising awareness about the needs facing men in recovery. Thanks to this generosity, CLARE can continue Jack’s legacy by providing compassionate care for those who need it most.
